Challenges We Faced
- The need for an academic digital identity befitting the institution:
There was no prior digital design that reflected Nile University’s prestige as a reputable academic institution. The primary goal was to build a platform that meets the trust of visitors and the expectations of students. - Organizing large and complex content in a clear structure:
The university had an extensive amount of information (about the institution, programs, vision and mission, academic departments…), which required a structure that allows users to easily find and access content. - Full digital transformation of curricula:
A strategic project objective was to convert all curricula into structured, secure, and accessible digital content, available for viewing and downloading directly from the website. - Presenting institutional values without overwhelming text:
Showcasing values such as quality, competence, and academic culture in a way that resonates visually without burdening users with heavy textual content. - Ensuring seamless browsing across all devices:
With a wide user base accessing the platform from mobile phones, tablets, and computers, a unified responsive experience was essential. - Lack of integration between academic programs and digital content:
Previously, there was no link between academic programs and their respective course materials, making it difficult for students and faculty to access information efficiently.
